Experience
Heino has over 40 years of professional experience in project management, contract engineering, estimating, time planning, claims preparation and defenses and dispute resolution.
He gained experience in special engineering projects, civil engineering projects, pipeline projects, residential, logistics, embassies, large industrial, commercial, and turn-key buildings.
He is involved in revision of historical claims and variations. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Construction Claims Professionals (UK) where he offers guidance on complex claims. He holds a certificate in arbitration of the Association of Arbitrators (South Africa).
He is a registered European Engineer, holds a German degree in Construction Economics and Management, a German degree in Industrial Engineering and is a Germany qualified Welding Engineer.
Heino worked extensively in Central and Eastern Europe, the Mid East, South Asia and Southern Africa.
Role at Construction Claim Solutions
Heino is involved in providing experienced opinions and reports from quantum and contractual matters for delay, disruptions and other claims. He is involved in claim preparation and defenses for contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and employers. He is active in project management and provides training on construction contracts and claim management.
He is an expert on the German VOB contract, the German Civil Code (BGB) contract as well as international contract forms namely FIDIC and NEC, the South African JBCC contract and the Namibian Blue and White Forms of contract.
